Road trip....

We took a little road trip to Swift Current in the middle of June (that's how behind I am on my blogs) to visit Nazayh, Lindsay and cousins Ryan and Ashley. The girls are not great traveller, but did fairly well. Whew. Even got a little nap in....

When we arrived at Nazayh and Lindsays the sky was grey, rainy and oh so so windy. Not to much happened. We did get out of the house to a special toy store for an early birthday gift for Ashley (or better known as Ashwey) and a trip to the bakery. Hmmm, yummy cinnamon buns. We also went out for supper, and played board games later that night. Kaitlin and Sarah had a blast playing with both Ryan (such a sweetie pie......he told Sarah she was a pretty princess) and Ashley. It was one of my best visits with Nazayh and Lindsay. I felt relaxed and didn't have to chase after the girls because they were busy playing with their cousins. Such a good time, if only the weather would have been nicer.

Here we are on our way home....Sarah vs the lion.....who wins. Sarah of course, that lion was covered in slobber. All smiles...at least for a bit.Don't worry we didn't forget Kaitlin. This was just one of the I don't want my photo taken times.
