Wanna see what I got?

My extreme couponing has officially begun. I have a good stack of coupons. Thanks to save.ca, brandsaver ( p and g), go couponing, right at home and I one more great Canadian site that has completly left my mind right now. Then there's my favorite. Canadian couponing on facebook and savealoonie.ca. Oh. how I love that you save me money and make it so easy and in way less time, although yes extreme couponing does take up some time this site makes it so much easier. All of these have got me saving and I must say I'm doing pretty well for a beginner.
For my first purchase I got:

Oasis juice 1.75 L
Sun Rype Fun bites
Green Works cleaner toilet bowl
Green Works cleaner all purpose
Green Works glass cleaner for all surfaces
Fantastik all purpose cleaner x2
Aveeno daily lotion for baby x2
Crest toothpaste
Lever 2000 3 bars
Fresh strawberries 2lbs
and not pictured Royal toilet paper 12 MEGA rolls, lemonde mix and sliced fresh mushrooms.

After a few price matches and a handful of coupons
= $33.14

Basically I paid for the cleaners, toilet paper and the lotion. Yay, me!

Family picnic

Picnic time in the back yard....brought to us by McDonalds. You know that red headed, big footed clown, Ronald! Oh, summer fun and good eats.

Concert time

Jemahl got me tickets to the Katy Perry concert for my birthday present. Yay, so much fun! Can you see Janell's excitement.....Katy Perrrrrrrry!
We had pretty good seats, but it's always awesome when the stage comes at you and you have a really high zoom camera.Katy's shout out to Calgarians, in a cowgirl hat at Stampede time. The concert was beyond my expectations and I now have a new favorite song. So fun! After the concert we slowly made our way to the grounds...I say slow because it was so so busy. We walked through the dream house (yep that would be a dream) and as we were walking through it started pouring. What's stampede time without rain. We hide out for awhile and then braved it and went on a few rides. Wheee!Aside from a walk to a ctrain station and then to stand in a full, stinky and loud train (again stampede time) for far to long, it was such a GREAT late afternoon and evening with my sister and sister in law. Memories forever!

In his shoes

Love Kaitlin's smile in this picture above.....Daddies shoes! So they don't fill them out and probably never will, but Kaitlin and Sarah enjoy walking in thier daddies shoes.

Super Grover

Like I said a few posts ago, here is the adored "Super Grover." A small set of building blocks that is called Kid K'nex. Sarah will try to put it together, but still needs some help. As you can tell by the pictures she just think that this toy is the bomb. One morning, I gave Sarah some cheerios and she decided that super grover needed them more. She's kinda like a dog when you show it it's leash or a cat when you shake a bag of treats....they come running. Well, when I show her the container she comes running.

Sillyness

These girls are crazy, sometimes they just like rolling around on the kitchen floor laughing and being silly together. I just LOVE how they love each other and look out for each other. They are just awesome!

We went walking

Sarah trying to get the hang of walking and pushing, but we hit the grass many times. She is one determined little girl. Kaitlin very serious about her walk

We went walking and what did we see....some cars, flowers, a dog and a pond with ducks. The girls love being outside. Off course when you have 2 young girls and 2 giant toys you have one exhausted mother at the end of the walk. Yep, 2 blocks later the girls were done with the toys and each wanting to go separate ways. Kaitlin running this way, Sarah not moving, stroller rolling down the hill and shopping cart in the mud. Fast forward to 5 minutes later....me carrying Sarah, pushing both shopping cart and stroller, Kaitlin a block ahead saying "mom carry me too". Whew. They love it, I do it, all to see a smile on their faces. To me that's worth a bit of exhaustion and confusion.
