Autumn at the park

Let me explain this next picture. I wanted to get a picture of BOTH Kaitlin and Sarah lying down in the leaves and Kaitlin insisted on helping out, although not so gently.

I love the look of fallen leaves....and as a comic I read long time ago says "crunchy just like chips." Hmm, I love chips.
Sarah discovering leaves in many ways. Touch, smell and taste. Pure joy...I just love Kaitlin's excitment in this picture!Sarah had some fun playing on the playground too. She climbed up and enjoyed sticking her fingers in the holes and peeking down to the bottom.Big smiles for mommy, so excited and lovin life at the park.Do you see her face here...so happy!Digging in the leaves and being such a cutie...Today Kaitlin, Sarah and I walked to the park for some fall time fun playing at one of our community parks. It was a breezy cool morning so we wore our winter jackets...however the sensitive Kaitlin found her last years jacket "too tight". We all had fun swinging, sliding, running, playing in the leaves and just being kids. Including me!

And the baby goes pee

Look at her face....so excited that she peed. She had to go and go she went! GO Sarah go!

Sarah has shown me that she wants to be just like her BIG sister, Kaitlin. Last week after Kaitlin went to the potty Sarah decided she just had to sit on the potty also. So off goes the pants, the onsie and the diaper....she sits and SHE PEES. The Saranghetti of all pees, half a pot of pee. Whohoo Sarah. Since this she has peed on the potty once almost every day.

My uh ha moment

This is me. I have gotten the "your so young and you have 2 children." I DO feel so young. I don't know how Im married now and have two little girls. I feel like a little girl myself. But then I took this picture and looked at it close....I am not a little girl and in this picture I do not look so young. I look my age. I look exhausted..hence the big black circles that I call bags under my eyes, and oh my goodness laugh lines all over...or are they wrinkles...but you know what I am completly happy with how I look. And sometimes I even go far enough and think I LOVE the way I look. Im not being self centered, but just real. And Im okay.....yikes.... looking forward to getting older and the many things that I will learn, discover and go through as an individual, a wife and a mother. And isn't Sarah just the cutest too. Im such a lucky "lady" to have 2 loving, great and adorable girls and the best husband.

Cat sitting....Anfoni!

When our neighbors went out of town Kaitlin, Sarah and I had the privledge of watching over their cat. Each day we would go over feed Anthony and make sure he had some fresh water and a clean litter box. It was the highlite of the week.
Kaitlin adores Anthony...always asking me where Anfoni mom? Feed Anfoni? Play Anfoni...come Anfoni. On and on about Anthony. Even now that our neighbors are back she hasn't stopped talking about him and loves stopping for a pet and to play with Anthony whenever we are outside.

Sliding

Kaitlin's turn...Thankies for the slide mommy...It's so much fun (or sun as Kaitlin would say)! And Sarah too.....wheee! No hands mommy.

Hair today...gone tommorow!

Sarah.....before and checking herself out in the mirror!A couple weeks ago I took Kaitlin and Sarah to BEANERS for a snip snip. This was Kaitlin's second cut and like her first time she sat so nicely in the chair (a pink hummer with a steering wheel and everything). I've heard of nightmare trips to the hairstylists for young children and was so relieved that Kaitlin did so well both times!
Sarah's first haircut...She seemed so tiny in the special little tractor chair that she had fun driving. She charmed the hairdresser and the other customers waiting....and herself in the mirror with her smiles. So brave!
