Sarah's trip to the Children's Hospital
Last night I took Sarah into to the Children's hospital to have her checked out. Wow, what a night. We arrived at 9:45 pm and got home at 5:00am. At 3:45 we saw the doctor...Broncilitis and RSV. A common cold for adults, but in young babies and children it can be dangerous. Breathing issues, respiratory problems. Yikes...no fun. We were sent home and now are now on watch.
Sarah was a trouper giving smiles in her discomfort and snoozing away in my arms. I was lucky to get all the extra cuddles, but wish I could have been sick for her.
Little Sarah is napping beside me as I type, all congested, but is doing fairly well. Kaitlin on the other hand is fighting nap due to her teething and nasty cold/cough.
Oh the sleep deprived nights and days of being a mommy but I wouldn't change it for the world!

Saying PLEASE and THANKYOU...learning my manners!
Kaitlin has always had pretty good manners, but this week we have been working on saying our pleases and thank yous. Jemahl and I are also teaching her to say sorry.
Today we went to the Urban Treehouse. A play center for children that has a climbing tower, slide, arts/playdough, water table, large soft blocks, playhouse, dressup cloths a dancing stage and small toys. When we were leaving Kaitlin remembered that she could get a stamp. So...using her manners she asks the staff "stap pwease...in her little girl way...and then says thank you staring at her hand in amazement.
I love that!

Sarah is already THREE months!
Wow, how did that happen. Sarah is 14 weeks today! It feels like I just brought her home yesterday. Time has sped by. At birth she weighed 6lbs 6 3/4 onz and yesterday at her 3 month check up she was 12 lbs.
Sarah is a happy baby ready to give you a smile, coo, goo, oooh and of course her favorite purgh (you know that sound when you put your lips together and breath out) but when she does it she spits out bubbles...I can hear you saying aww as I type. Hahah! And I bet your laughing at me cause you can see me blowin the bubbles too.
She is a champ at breastfeeding and although I want her to stay my little baby forever I am looking forward to feeding her, her first solids and seeing her reaction.
She loves playing with link rings that dangle down in front of her, books, songs and of course playing with her sis sis and me will always put a smile on her face.
On the weekend she loves spending some special time with daddy, but in the evenings we are struggling with spending some time with daddy....what can I say she really doesn't like it when I leave the room. Daddy is trying hard to find ways to entertain her and soothe her when I am busy.
Oh, and Sarah has decided that it's time to sleep all night long. For almost 3 weeks now she has been sleeping 10 - 12 hours. Wow...how awesome! Hope I don't jinx it!

Gym class
Jemahl and I enrolled Kaitlin into gym classes close to our home. Twice a week we take our turns taking Kaitlin to a class.
On Thursdays I load the girls up for Movin and Grovin....we sing songs while doing actions, play games like Red light/green light, What time is it Mr. Wolf? and The Hokey Poky. It's been a blast for both Kaitlin and I, and we both look forward to the next class.
On Saturdays Jemahl takes his turn, Sportsarama! Where Kaitlin and daddy go through an obstacle course each week and then play a different sport like basketball or hockey. She recently discovered a little friend while playing Ring around the rosy....she would not let go of a girls hand for 10 minutes. I love hearing the stories when Kaitlin comes back.
I think our next class may have to be a dancing one! Her Thursday class takes place in a dance studio and she runs over to the mirror and dance bar any chance that she can get to watch herself dancing and swing.
One thing that I have realized just now is how much she brings gym class home with her and how many new things she is learning. Kaitlin loves dancing and singing the songs she learns from gym class and has even built obstacle courses for herself at home. It's adorable!

What are you gonna be when you grow up?
Jemahl bought me a new video recorder for my birthday...and we have already had some fun with it. Here's a little video of Kaitlin and Sarah telling us what they want to be when they grow up!
Granny and Papa
My mom and dad moved away a year and a half to new jobs and a quieter life style. We miss them each day, especially Kaitlin who adores both her Granny and Papa. This is a video of Kaitlin saying Hi!
