Blankie ride

The girls will not allow me to fold the blanket in the morning without a quick ride. No sounds (of course), but Sarah laughs the whole entire time. She just thinks it's the best thing ever. Kaitlin loves it too!

Kaitlin reads stories and "feeds" her baby

Here is one of Kaitlin, again sorry no sound!

Busy, busy, Sarah

Last night I took a few pictures and wanted to test out the video functionon my camera. No sound, but here's my little Sarah. She just so busy!

Colouring

Just like when Kaitlin is watching Dorah (that's another post), Kaitlin can not be destracted when she is colouring. I love her concentration and how she holds her one hand next to the one holding the crayon. My little artist in the making!

Pretty hair and sand play

PRETTY HAIR....for Kaitlin! Yay!Let me explain this next one. Sarah wanted to eat the sand so I gave her a sous to destract her. She took it out and plopped it right into the sandbox and then started putting it back it in her. Blah...ghack! I told her NO and this is a little after that. See how she's looking at me from the side as if to say mom I didn't do anything wrong. Hehehe, I love it!
PRETTY HAIR for Sarah.

My girls...aren't they just too cute?!?

Trick or Treat please....

Hallaween 2010....was a BIG success. Kaitlin and Sarah had so much fun being a cat and a chicken. Sarah was so excited to be in a costume and loved the extra attention from all of our neighbors. After 3 and a half blocks Kaitlin had a bag full of "TREATS". One of my favorite parts of the night was when Kaitlin knocked on one door and they did not open it right away so Kaitlin shouts out "awnybudy home?" and it didn't stop at that door step....hahaha! Kaitlin enjoyed seeing other kids in their costumes and loved seeing all the decorated houses. She even helped daddy hand out big handfuls at the end of the night.
Thanks Jan and Mark for coming again this year...taking pictures (can't wait to see them) and handing out candy while we were all out! Oh my, look at all that candy....and it's just about gone too!My little chick, chick

Sarah bear

Hehehe, I love this one. To cute! These glasses make me laugh so much and she loves them too and will laugh at herself.Sarah dressed up as a little chick for Hallaween...she was just the cutest.Messy after a yummy lunch at a playdate with friends! Are these my panties mom?I can't believe in just 2 and bit short weeks Sarah will be celebrating her 1st birthday. She is astounding me daily with the new things that she is learning. Her vocabulary is slowly getting larger. Her favorite words are mam (mom), du, da (which are really very simular, but mean completly different things), papa, bue bye (and waves at the same time too).
Sarah is pulling herself up, standing with very little support and walking with help....and still peeing in the potty on occasion. Some nights she thinks that waking up every 2 hours is perfect...not so perfect for everyone else in the house. When she does sleep through the nightshe decides that 4:30 or 5:00 is the perfect time to wake up for the day. Lucky mommy gets lots of baby time in the wee hours of the morning. With all of this sleeping challenges I would not be surprised if she pops one or two or even three teeth in the next little while.
She loves playing with her sister....and is such a good player. She is also a huge eater. Eating everythig that I eat, and if she doesn't she gets mad.
Oh and she is so independant...knows exactly what she wants and will let you know if she doesn't get it.
I am so incredibly blessed to have her in m life!

Kaitlin smiles

Big smiles for the camera....oh I love her so much. My pretty little girl.

Pumkin, pumkin, pumpkin eater!

This year we picked up some fresh pumkins for hallaween. Kaitlin and I carved a pumpkin...well acually we coloured a face on. We roasted the seeds (yummy) and cooked up some pumkin. Did you know pumpkin is cooked just like a potatoe.
Kaitlin helped me make pumkin choclot chip cookies, and pumkin cinnamin muffins. Yummy! So much fun in the kitchen with Kaitlin 3 days in a row.

RAIDNG the fridge

This is the newest fasination in our house....Kaitlin can now open doors, including the fridge. When in a rush I often don't close the fridge and both girls are in it looking for a snack and trying (yes, trying) to help mommy!
