Boxed
I have been trying hard to reduce the amount of garbage in our house. Recycling. But Kaitlin got into it and insisted on me fixing the box so she could walk around in it. She had some fun with it!
Santa Claus is coming
At the end of November we had the kids Christmas party through Jemahl's work. The girls got to play some video games and win tickets. We all enjoyed a meal on Airdrie, Chrysler and a visit from with a present.
From a distance Kaitlin and Sarah saw Santa and were thrilled. When it was there turns to sit on Santa's lap and get it didn't go over so well. Insert the picture of crying kids sitting in Santa's lap with the mother right up there too. Santa's SCARY. Is the response I got. However promptly after being given the present and opening it they were both thrilled to jump on Santa's lap again for a thank you.

Party for a 2 year old
The HAPPY birthday girl
On November 26th, we celebrated Sarah's 2nd birthday! Dora style! Friends and family. Playing, food, cake and presents.
It's so hard to believe that my little Sarah is TWO. Life just wouldn't be the same without her. From the morning knocking I get between 5:00 and 6:00, the hugs and kisses, I love yous and go aways. Sarah is full of energy, excited to start a new day and discover new things.
It's crazy how a baby goes from needing so much to being so independent. That's my Sarah, stepping out on her own. She sure does let me know what she wants and if she doesn't get it she will make sure she is heard. Terrible 2's? I smile! Here I go again.
Cooking baking...and eating too
I remember growing up and always playing in or close to the kitchen. My mom was always baking, cooking or making fun stuff for us to play with, like play dough.
Sometimes, I get all nostalgic and get out the sugar, eggs and flour and bake with the girls. Here's one of those times. Of course the girls were thrilled to help me measure, mix and decorate these yummy cookies...They enjoyed eating them too!

First snow
November 31st, 2011! Our first snowfall. It was so pretty. Now for someone who's not looking forward to a long Canadian winter this little snowfall was an excuse to get outside and make a snowman. The first one of the season actually fell apart...so meet snowman #2 of the season. Kaitlin was a BIG help and even rolled 2 whole giant balls by herself. By the time we had the 2nd man up the yard was almost empty of snow.

Trick or Treat
This year for Halloween I had a cupcake (Tinkerbell for school) and a Dora. I think Kaitlin makes the yummiest cupcake and Sarah is adorable as her favorite character. Just before the girls head out with Jemahl I got a few pictures and they just happened to hug each other. They were both just thrilled to go out for treats! My Little Cupcake and do - do Dora do - do
Off they go with daddy
The girls came back to dump out their goodies, had some lick licks and out they went again, this time with me. After a few houses Sarah went inside for what sounds like a buffet of treats with daddy and just Kaitlin and I went out.
The END results...a pantry full of candy and a sugar high.
